Congratulations to the General Amherst Bulldogs from Amherst, Ontario, our new Girls AA Volleyball champions!
Great job, girls! Check back on the website next week, I will post the video of your final games. - update - looks like there were some recording issues, I'll have to see what I can do with the files that I have.
We have had inquiries about purchasing pictures of the games - every picture that we took is available free on this website. If you want to make a print or use pics in your yearbook or websites, please do so! Make sure you download the full resolution version by clicking on the drop down box above the picture to the right.
This thread is open for commenters. We'd love to hear about your OFSAA experience, whether you were here as a player, coach or fan or watching the site and webcast from home. This is a good place to send out greetings or thanks to any individual who you think made a difference in your OFSAA experience. Please feel free to offer suggestions for improvement as well - we are running the boys AA OFSAA in November, so we'd love to know if there's anything we could improve on!

What a great way to spend International Women's Day - cheering on this amazing group of female athletes as they play towards the OFSAA championship. The OFSAA committee is just as proud as you all are of the strong, dedicated and determined athletes that you have sent to spend time with us here in Dryden. We have watched some amazing volleyball already, and the best is yet to come! We hope that, no matter what the outcome on the court, all of the athletes had as much fun being here as we did putting this tournament together for them.
The girls have been loving all of the messages of support you have been sending - we get mobbed every time we go out to post more on the wall! Keep them coming.

In fifteen days you'll be in Dryden!
Webcasting: Check out our webcast this Wednesday night (Wed. Feb. 22) of the Dryden Volleyball Club’s girls’ 14U and 16U club teams, and our webcast of this weekend’s NWOSSAA boys’ basketball championships.

Balls: We are provided 20 Baden 450s (10 per team) at each site. Your team does not have to bring balls!
Time Zone Change: Please remember for every team (except Dryden and Fort Frances) we are 1 hour behind the rest of you. (Dryden is in the Central Time Zone, not Eastern)

With just one month until the OFSAA tournament here in Dryden, Ontario, there are a few important things we'd like to remind you of:
1. Registration. Please submit your team registration information as soon as possible! We are requesting that all teams provide us with a high-resolution team photograph AND team/school logo for inclusion on the website and tournament program. We will also glady accept any other information about your team (championship press releases, action photos) as well.
2. Webcasting/Results. Every game that takes place on Court 1 (Dryden H.S. big gym) will be broadcast live over the internet. Tell your fans/families/friends to come to www.drydenvolleyball.com during the tournament to watch your games. We will also be providing up to the minute results and scores of all games.
3. Check out the "Banquet" link in the right hand column and let us know ASAP if anyone on your team has any specific dietary requirements that will not be taken care of by our banquet menu.
4. Any questions at all? Click on the "Contact" link and get in touch with tournament convenor Todd Desautels who can provide any information that you can't find on this website.
